Jerusalem and Bethlehem

This tour will take you to the holiest Christian destinations in the world: Jerusalem and Bethlehem. We start at Mount Scopus with a panoramic view of Jerusalem. Then we pass through the Garden of Gethsemane, the Church of All Nations, and the Kidron Valley to reach the Old City. In the Jewish Quarter, we visit the Byzantine Cardo and the Western Wall. Following the Via Dolorosa where Jesus walked with his cross, we arrive at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. This 12th-century church houses the site of the crucifixion on Calvary and the tomb of Christ. Leaving Jerusalem, we head to Bethlehem. We arrive at Manger Square and visit the Basilica of the Nativity which houses the Grotto of the Nativity, where Jesus was born, and see the original mosaic excavated from the 4th century when St. Helena built the first church. If possible, we will visit the chapel caves beneath the Church of St. Catherine. Leaving Bethlehem, we return to the hotels.
