Breakfast. Free day in Jerusalem. Optional: Masada and Dead Sea: Departure for Masada, the last Jewish stronghold in the revolt against the Romans. Cable car ride to the impressive Masada fortress, where we will find the ruins of the Zealots and the excavations of Herod's palace. Afterwards, we will descend to the lowest point on Earth, the Dead Sea, 400 meters below sea level. Free time to swim in its famous mineral-rich waters. Return to Jerusalem. Accommodation.
Breakfast. Departure to the Shrine of the Book at the Israel Museum, where the Dead Sea Scrolls are displayed and where the Model of Jerusalem in the Time of Jesus is located. Visit to the Ain Karen neighborhood, where the Church of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist is found, and visit to Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Museum and Memorial. In the afternoon, visit to Bethlehem, where, entering through the Humility Gate at the Church of the Nativity, we will see the Grotto of the Nativity, the 14-pointed Star (the birthplace of Jesus), the Basilica of St. Catherine, and the Grotto of St. Jerome. Return to the hotel. Accommodation.
Breakfast. Departure to the Old City, visit to the Western Wall. Then, we will walk the Via Dolorosa to reach Golgotha, the place of Jesus' crucifixion, and the Holy Sepulchre. Visit to Mount Zion, where the Tomb of King David, the Cenacle (site of the Last Supper "The Eucharist" and "Pentecost"), and the Abbey of the Dormition – the Assumption of Mary – are located. We will proceed to the Mount of Olives to enjoy a magnificent view of the city. Finally, we will visit the Garden of Gethsemane and the Basilica of Agony. Accommodation.
Breakfast. At the appropriate time, transfer to Ben Gurion Airport to board the return flight.
