HOLY LAND – DEPARTURES ON MONDAYS / 7 NIGHTS

Arrival at the airport, assistance, and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

Breakfast. Free day in Tel Aviv. Optional: Masada and the Dead Sea – Departure towards Masada, the last Jewish stronghold in the revolt against the Romans. Ascent by cable car to the impressive fortress of Masada, where we will find ruins of the Zealots and the excavations of Herod's palace. Afterwards, we will descend to the lowest place on Earth, the Dead Sea, 400 meters below sea level. Free time to bathe in its famous mineral-rich waters. Return to Tel Aviv. Overnight stay.

Breakfast. Departure from the city of Tel Aviv, skirting the Mediterranean Sea until reaching Jaffa, an ancient port of Israel, now an artists' neighborhood. Visit to the Church of St. Peter. Continuing along the coast to Caesarea Maritima, the ancient Roman capital, where we will visit its Theater, the Crusader Fortress Wall, and the Roman Aqueduct. We will proceed to the city of Haifa, ascend Mount Carmel, where the Cave of the Prophet Elijah is located, and view the Bahá'í Temple and its Persian Gardens, enjoying a panoramic view of the city and the port. We then continue to Acre (San Juan de Acre), the Crusader capital, visiting the medieval fortresses. Dinner and accommodation.

Breakfast. We will start the day with a boat crossing on the Sea of Galilee. We will then visit Magdala, where we will see remains of the village and its synagogue, and visit the modern church. Later, we will visit the Mount of Beatitudes, where the "Sermon on the Mount" took place; Tabgha, the site of the multiplication of the loaves and fishes; and Capernaum, where we will see the House of St. Peter and the ruins of the ancient synagogue. Dinner and accommodation.

Breakfast. In the morning, visit to the city of Nazaré, where we will visit the Church of the Annunciation, Saint Joseph's Carpentry, and the Virgin's Fountain. Continue to the Mount of the Precipice, where we will have a beautiful panoramic view of Nazaré and its surroundings. The day continues with a visit to Cana of Galilee, where the first miracle of Jesus took place. In the afternoon, departure towards Jerusalem through the Jordan River Valley, bypassing the oasis of Jericho, where we will have a panoramic view of the Mount of Temptation and the Dead Sea. We will ascend through the Judean Desert and enter Jerusalem, the city of peace, birthplace of the three major monotheistic religions. Accommodation.

Breakfast. Departure to the Shrine of the Book at the Israel Museum, where the Dead Sea Scrolls are displayed, and where the Model of Jerusalem in the time of Jesus is located. Visit to the neighborhood of Ein Karem, where the Church of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist is located, and a visit to Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Museum and Memorial. In the afternoon, visit to Bethlehem, where, entering through the Door of Humility at the Church of the Nativity, we will see the Cave of the Nativity, the 14-pointed Star (the birthplace of Jesus), the Basilica of St. Catherine, and the Grotto of St. Jerome. Accommodation.

Breakfast. Departure for the Old City, visit to the Wailing Wall. Next, we will walk the Via Dolorosa to reach Golgotha, the site of Jesus' crucifixion, and the Holy Sepulchre. Visit to Mount Zion, where the Tomb of King David, the Cenacle (site of the Last Supper "The Eucharist" and "Pentecost"), and the Abbey of the Dormition – the Assumption of Mary – are located. We will then head to the Mount of Olives to enjoy a magnificent view of the city. Finally, we will visit the Garden of Gethsemane and the Basilica of Agony.
Accommodation.

Breakfast. At the appropriate time, transfer to Ben Gurion Airport to board the return flight.
