Tour Schedule
Day 1
Beijing
You’ll get your fist real taste of China on the transfer from Beijing International Airport. Your guide will accompany you to your luxurious accommodations.
Day 2
Beijing (Including American breakfast, Lunch & lunch on the train)
Today you’ll begin your China sightseeing tour. The first stop is Tiananmen Square in the center of Beijing. Then head for the magnificent Forbidden City, which stood as the imperial palace for China from the Ming Dynasty until the end of the Qing Dynasty, a period of 500 years. After lunch, see the elegant Summer Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site with the largest imperial garden in the world, a favorite retreat for many of the emperors during the Qing Dynasty. In the evening, you will enjoy an authentic Peking Duck Banquet followed by Chinese Kung-Fu Show.
Day 3
Beijing (including American breakfast & lunch)
Today you’ll see and perhaps climb the Great Wall of China, one of the country’s most famous tourist attractions and one of the greatest man-made wonders of the world. It runs about 5,500 miles through 150 different counties. You will then have a Seminar on Chinese Jade Culture at a local Jade Museum. Next you will visit the exquisite 15th century Temple of Heaven – to see the Imperial Ceiling of Heaven with its Echo Wall and the Nine-Dragon Cypress, more than 500 years old.
Day 4
Beijing – Luoyang (Including American breakfast & dinner )
Pick up and drive to the railway station for a high-speed train G671 08:15/12:53 (4hr 38mins). You can enjoy the scenery along the way. Upon arrival, be met and transfer to visit Longmen Grottoes, one the three most famous treasure houses of stone inscriptions in China. It contains the largest and most impressive collection of Chinese art of the late Northern Wei and Tang Dynasties (316-907). These works, entirely devoted to the Buddhist religion, represent the high point of Chinese stone carving.
Day 5
Luoyang – Xian (Including breakfast & lunch on the train)
After breakfast, we will drive to visit the famous Shaolin Temple, the Number One Temple under Heaven’. Here you will also see the Pagoda Forest and enjoy a Shaolin Gongfu Show. After Shaolin Vegetarian lunch, transfer to the longmen railway station for the high-speed train to Xian. When you arrive in Xian, the guide will greet you at the railway station and take you to the hotel for rest.
Day 6
Xian (Including American breakfast & lunch)
According to UNESCO, the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses are the Eighth Wonder of the World. Today’s excursion will take you to modern China’s greatest archaeological discovery – The Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses, which silently guarded the tomb of China’s First Emperor for over 2,200 years. Next, you’ll head to the Terracotta Replication Factory that re-made terracotta soldiers. Back to downtown and pay a visit to the Ancient City Wall of Xian, one of the world’s oldest, most complete fortified defenses.
Day 7
Xian / Shanghai (Including American breakfast & lunch)
Tour the Small Wild Goose Pagoda Park, Xian Museum, and Muslim Quarter, then fly to Shanghai. Upon arrival, be transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is free.
Day 8
Shanghai (Including American breakfast, Lunch & dinner on the train)
Today you’ll visit Yuyuan Garden and soak up the more commercial aspects on Old Street, Nanjing Road, the Bund. Visit a silk factory where you can do some shopping. Then step back in time at the Shanghai Museum with more than 120,000 art objects. In the evening, a farewell dinner of Shanghai Cuisine will be followed by a spectacular Acrobatic Show.
Day 9
Shanghai (Including American breakfast)
Free day at leisure
Day 10
Shanghai to Hometown (Including American breakfast)
Today you’ll board your flight to return home. Your amazing China trip ends.
