Tour Schedule

Day 1

WARSAW

Arrival in Warsaw and welcome. Transfer and dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Warsaw.

Day 2

WARSAW

Buffet breakfast. In the morning, sightseeing (with a local professional guide) around the political and cultural capital of Poland, with its old and well-preserved historical center, which has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The old town with the Royal Route, Castle Square with King Sigismund III Vasa Column, Market Square, Royal Lazienki Park (with the monument to Chopin), and the Palace of Culture and Science (the tallest building in the city). Free afternoon to explore on your own. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Warsaw.

Day 3

WARSAW / CZESTOCHOWA / KRAKOW

Breakfast. Departure to Czestochowa. Visit to the Jasna Gora Monastery in Czestochowa (entrance), a city known as the spiritual capital of Poland. Here, in the Pauline Monastery, in the chapel of the Shrine of Jasna Gora, is the miraculous image of the Black Virgin, patroness of Poland. Continue to Krakow. Arrival, accommodation and dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Krakow.

Day 4

KRAKOW / AUSCHWITZ

Breakfast. Morning sightseeing of Krakow (with local professional guide). We will visit the beautiful Market Square and Gothic Basilica of Santa Maria (entrance) dating back to the 14th century, with its famous higher altar made by the famous sculptor Veit Stoss. The city has traditionally been one of the country’s scientific, cultural and artistic centers, and for much of its history was the capital of Poland. Therefore, it is still the heart of the country for many Polish people. The city’s most prominent buildings are the Royal Castle and the Wawel Cathedral. In the afternoon, depart to Oswiecim (Auschwitz), the largest concentration and extermination camp of World War II. Visit (with local professional guide) the moving Museum (entrance) and the site of the martyrdom of St. Maximilian Maria Kolbe and St. Edith Stein. Return and dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Krakow.

Day 5

KRAKOW / LAGIEWNIKI / KRAKOW 

Breakfast. Depart to Lagiewniki, the place where the nun and mystic Saint Faustina Kowalska lived and worked. In the Sanctuary of the Divine Mercy is the tomb and relics of this saint, as well as a copy of the wonderful Divine Mercy painting. Lagiewniki is one of the most important pilgrimage centers in Poland. Celebration of Mass.  Free afternoon. Optional tour to the salt mines of Wieliczka. Return and dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Krakow.

Day 6

KRAKOW / WADOWICE / BUDAPEST 

Breakfast. In the morning, depart for Budapest, passing through Wadowice, the hometown of Pope John Paul II. Visit his home and the parish of Santa Maria, where he was baptized and which dates back to 15th century. Continue our trip.  Accommodation. Dinner at a typical restaurant with live gypsy music. Overnight in Budapest.

Day 7

BUDAPEST

Breakfast. Sightseeing (with local professional guide). Budapest, the capital of Hungary, is divided by the Danube into two historical parts: Buda and Pest. We will start our visit on the Pest side of the city, at Heroes’ Square. Next, we will head over to Buda, and visit the famous Fishermen’s Bastion (inside), the Cathedral of St. Matias (entrance) and the Monument to St. Stephen. Free afternoon. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Budapest.

Day 8

BUDAPEST / VIENNA

Departure to Vienna via the city of Bratislava, capital of Slovakia, with free time to walk through the old historic center, where we will see the Gothic-style Presidential Palace, the Cathedral, the Medieval Tower and the picturesque streets with charming restaurants and cafes. Accommodation at the hotel and dinner. Overnight in Vienna.

Day 9

VIENNA

Breakfast. Sightseeing (with local professional guide). Vienna is the city of music, capital of Central European culture, thanks to its privileged integration of three cultures: German, Latin and Slavic. Its grand Baroque palaces, magnificent neoclassical buildings, churches and extensive gardens give the city an aspect of grand nobility. We will visit the university, the Donner Fountain, the Spanish Riding School, the pedestrian street, Belvedere Palace, St. Stephen’s Basilica and the Opera House. Free afternoon to explore on your own.

Day 10

VIENNA / PRAGUE

Breakfast. In the morning, after passing through the city of Brno, we will travel by highway to Prague (capital of the Czech Republic), situated on the romantic Vltava River. Lunch not included. Free afternoon. Accommodation and dinner. Overnight in Prague.

Day 11

PRAGUE

Prague is considered one of the most beautiful cities in Eastern Europe. We will tour this city, in large part, by walking its streets. During the tour, we will see the Cathedral of St. Vitus, the exterior of the old Royal Palace, the Church of Our Lady Victorious – with the statue called the Infant Jesus of Prague, the Astronomical Clock Square, City Hall, Church of St. Nicholas, Jewish Quarter, Charles Bridge (symbol of the city), National Theater and Powder Tower.  Overnight in Prague.

Day 12

PRAGUE / BERLIN

Breakfast. Day trip by bus to Berlin, passing through the city of Dresden. In Dresden, we will have free time to see the city. Accommodation at the hotel and dinner. Overnight in Berlin.

Day 13

BERLIN

Half-day sightseeing to East and West Berlin, including the main attractions such as the Museum Quarter, the main boulevards, the Cathedral (outside visit), the Brandenburg Gate (the landmark of the city’s division during the Cold War), the palaces of Charlottenburg and the Reichstag (Parliament of Germany), the famous Checkpoint Charlie and the remains of the Berlin wall. Free afternoon to explore on your own. Overnight in Berlin.

Day 14

DEPARTURE FROM BERLIN

Breakfast.  Transfer to the airport at scheduled time and board a regular flight to Brazil.
