DAY 1 ARRIVAL – MANILA
Upon your arrival in Manila, our guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to relax.
DAY 2 MANILA – TAGAYTAY – MANILA BB,LC
Proceed to a morning tour of TAGAYTAY. Tagaytay, located on a ridge 2,250 ft. above sea level. It is a leisurely drive with 60 kms away to the countryside. From the heights of Tagaytay, enjoy the breathtaking sight of one of the world’s strangest wonders – Taal Volcano, a volcano within a volcano and lake within a lake. Enjoy a lunch of Filipino cuisine coupled with a panoramic view of the lake and the volcano.
After lunch, land drive back to Manila. This tour stops briefly at the Las Pinas Church, site of the Bamboo Organ, and the Sarao jeepney factory – see how the Filipino ingenuity and culture take from with this versatile motor vehicle.
AY 3 MANILA / BB,LC
From the hotel, visit Casa Manila, a replica of a 17th century house and the San Agustin Church, inscribed in the World Heritage list and the only building left intact after the Americans bombed Intramuros defeating the Japanese forces. Take a ‘calesa’, a horse-drawn carriage which is still being used as a form of public transport, to the Manila Cathedral, the seat of the Archbishop in Manila which is on its 8th reincarnation after being destroyed by several wars.
Walk to Fort Santiago, which used to be the seat of the Spanish government and where the Philippines’ national hero, Jose Rizal, was incarcerated. Visit the Rizal shrine, its plazas, 18th century barracks and see the various dungeon cellblocks. Continue the tour to see the bizarre Chinese Cemetery, and then head to Quiapo, the oldest district of Manila. See the underbelly of the city and the marketplace for bargain hunting. Walk to the vibrant Binondo in Chinatown, which is the oldest in the world.
Return to the hotel and freshen up. You will then be taken to Makati: the modern, cosmopolitan district of Manila. It is also known for top-notch shopping, many dining destinations and entertainment. All within easy reach to each other. Makati is also the financial center of the Philippines; it has the highest concentration of multinational and local corporations in the country. Major banks, corporations, department stores as well as foreign embassies are based in Makati. The biggest trading floor of the Philippine Stock Exchange is situated along the city’s Ayala Avenue. Easily accessible from Makati is the Bonifacio Global City, once a military fort now a bustling urbanized and commercial area with plenty of shopping and dining experiences to offer.
DAY 4 MANILA – BORACAY / BB
Today, you will be escorted to airport for your flight to Boracay. Upon arrival, take a boat trip to your hotel and spend 3 nights there.
DAY 5 BORACAY / BB
Free day on your own to enjoy the beach time.
DAY 6 BORACAY / BB
Free day on your own to enjoy the beach time.
DAY 7 BORACAY – MANILA – DEPARTURE / BB
Today, you will have some free time till being escorted to airport for your flight to Manila. No arrangement for you in Manila today, you need to connect your international flight by yourself.
