Tour Schedule
DAY 1 ARRIVAL – HANOI
Upon your arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, your tour guide will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in the center of Hanoi. After hotel check-in, the rest of the day is yours to relax or head out into the city for a little adventure on your own.
DAY 2 HANOI / BB,LC
In the morning, explore Hanoi by touring some major historic sites, including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh’s House on Stilt, One Pillar Pagoda, Hoa Lo Prison and Temple of Literature.
In the afternoon, visit Museum of Ethnology and cycle through the Old Quarter of Hanoi by rickshaw (about 1 hour). Last stop is Hoan Kiem Lake, where you can visit Ngoc Son Temple and enjoy a Water Puppet Show to learn more about Vietnamese traditional culture.
DAY 3 HANOI – HALONG BAY /BB,LC,DI
This morning, you will departure for Halong Bay, which is known for its emerald waters and thousands of towering limestone islands topped by rainforests. Upon arrival at Hon Gai Pier, board a boat to start a leisure holiday. The cruise manager will give a welcome speech with all the cruise information and safety instructions. Today’s activity is visiting the Vung Vieng floating fishing village by kayaking.
The rest of the day is free for you. If you want to relax on the boat instead of participating in other activities feel free to use our sauna at no extra cost.
DAY 4 HALONG BAY – HANOI – DA NANG – HOI AN / BB,LC
If you want, wake up early to practice Tai Chi – a beautiful and relaxing experience on the open deck. Tea and coffee are served. This morning you will explore Thien Canh Son Cave in Halong Bay. Witness its beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. Please kindly note that there are about 200 steps to get up to the cave. After the tour, bill settlement at the reception desk and enjoy brunch at the restaurant on the 2nd deck. At around 10:45, the boat will arrive at the pier.
Your guide and driver will wait you at the pier. Then drive to Hanoi airport (around 3 hours) to take your flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, hotel checks in and free at leisure in the evening.
DAY 5 HOI AN /BB,LC
This morning, you will have a half-day Fisherman Eco tour experience fishing village. In the afternoon, take a light excursion to go around the tiny town of Hoi An and visit the 400-year-old Japanese Bridge, renowned Chinese Temple and Vietnamese former merchants house. Your guide will tell you all the stories behind these historical relics. Enjoy the mix of peace and alive nightlight in Hoi An in the evening on your own.
DAY 6 HOI AN – DA NANG – HO CHI MINH CITY / BB
After breakfast, you will be escorted to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, you will be escorted to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is yours to relax in the hotel or walk around on your own.
DAY 7 HO CHI MINH CITY / BB,LC
This morning set out for the incredible underground Cu Chi Tunnels, and then drive back to Ho Chi Minh City to visit the Ben Thanh market, War Remnants Museum and Reunification Palace (the former Presidential Palace). Old Saigon Post Office and Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat) are absolutely nice choices for a free stroll.
DAY 8 HO CHI MINH CITY – MEKONG DELTA – HO CHI MINH CITY / BB,LC
Today, you will enjoy a full-day Mekong Delta tour (My Tho) with visiting villages and markets.
After breakfast, set out on an excursion to My Tho, a charming city in the Mekong Delta. Just only 1.5-hour drive brings you through urbanized areas until you reach the river tributaries of the Mekong Delta. On arrival in My Tho, you will visit the wholesale fruit Thanh Tri local market, which is a very nice and experience place that must to see. After market, continue to the pier to take your cruise rounding four beautiful Islets: Dragon, Unicorn, Tortoise and Phoenix on Tien River. Continue your boat trip to pass fishing villages around the Phoenix Island. Get over Tien River to the other side to An Khanh Village (Bentre land, where less touristic). Take a short walk to Vuondau for fruits and honey tea then take a rowing boat on the water palm creek with very beauty landscape. Cruise to Quedua see coconut candy workshop then riding the horse-cart on village to Mientay riverside restaurant for lunch with a simple eatery offering tasty Mekong specialties as Elephant fish.
Before back to Ho Chi Minh City, stop over at Vinh Trang Pagoda, an ancient southern architectural gem. Built in 1849, this structure is a mixture of Asian and European architecture including elements from the Renaissance period, Romanesque style, French decorative flowers and Japanese enameled tile.
DAY 9 HO CHI MINH CITY – DEPARTURE /BB
You will have free time till your guide escorts you to the airport for your flight back home.
